Almost There (on Project #1)!

I spent most of the day yesterday working on Cara's Irish Hiking Scarf. There are a lot of nice patterns on this site, but I'd better not look right now or my list is going to grow longer. That wouldn't do with only 47 days left until Christmas. And guess what??

It is about 3 feet long now, which is a little over half way c
ompleted!! I should be able to finish this today and move on to one of Lindsay's market bags!!

Yeah!! Progress has been made!!

A big thank you to Pea who left some very nice links to Christmas countdowns. There were so many I liked I had trouble picking. I just stopped by to visit her, and she is all decorated for Christmas and also has links for Holiday Cooking Blogger Style and also, and more importantly, Mary's Christmas Card Shower for a Soldier. These cards need to be there by November 15, so please hurry over and support a young lady overseas and away from home for the very first time.

Here's a picture of the scarf so far:

Here's the beginnings of Lindsay's market bag (1 of 2 that I want to finish):

Hmmmm.......not much done there yet! I guess I'd better get to work!!

And one last thing--I've you're looking for some inspiration today, stop by here for "Then Sings My Soul Saturday"!!

K--that's all for a while!!

Beth,

You are blessed with the ability to make things with your hands! That's beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me this morning.

Happy Saturday to you!

Blessings Beth...Can you type & knit? Or talk with me & knit? It's 3 feet, isn't that long enough? It's so beautiful & such a gift, it'll be. That deep hunter green is so winter looking. And trust me, I know nothing about knitting, but that pattern is absolutely beautiful!!! And Lindsay's white market bag...won't it get dirty! I love that fine pattern stitch!!!
Precious start knitted with love!

The cables in Cara's remind me of cords...such as a chord of 2 or 3 cannot be broken...and it shan't...knitted together in the womb fearlessly & wonderfully made Cara, Lindsay & Andrew...each bound to their precious mom by that cord that gave them life and is now awaiting for their New Birth through a LOVE DARE! I love you!

Thank you for my Saturday delight & such a special surprise! Still tears in my eyes!
