That angel is just darling! I love just about every Christmas song I've ever heard, but I guess my favorite is "Mary Did You Know" (especially when sung by a woman. Dunno why LOL). Thanks!

Well Beth... my niece, lol. You know I love angels and Christmas Music. To choose one favorite is harder then dieting, LOL.

I guess I like "Oh Holy Night" because it was written by a soldier in the trenches during the war... he realized it was Christmas Eve and stood up in the middle of the fire of the enemy and started singing. For that night neither side fought.

That is so powerful to me and shows the awesome power of Gods love. Every time I hear the song I tear up.

What a pretty little angel! My favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night. I love line, "Long lay the world in sin and error pinning till He appeared and the soul felt it's worth."

Merry christmas!

THAT is DARling!!!! My favorite Christmas songs are "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" and "O Holy Night." And if I'm in the mood to relieve some holiday stress, I love to dance with the kids in the middle of the living room to "Feliz Navidad." lol.

My favorite Christmas song is Ol' Little Town of Bethlehem. I'm not sure why it is my favorite but it has been since I was just a little girl. My mom teases me because I sing it all year long.

My favorite is "Little Drummer Boy." Mostly because it's so much fun to sing, "Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum!"
Gorgeous little angel!

She is just too darling! My favorite Christmas song is probably 'Joy to the World'. It makes me want to stand up and shout! Joy, indeed!

Blessings Beth...The PERFECT ANGEL!
Look how late I am...so many before me! What beautiful work your hands have made! What a delight to have everyone share their Christmas song! I'm thinking because I LOVE SO MANY of them and kinda procrastinating so I'm not #13.

I love this precious angel! At one time I had 4 angels around me that someone saw...then my daughter told me she had seen 5...so as my brother was dying and I placed an angel pin on him(a gift from our neighborhood friend)and told him I was giving him one of my angels to take him home to be with the Lord, and his spirit left that moment.

I love many of the ones mentioned already...O Holy Night, Silent Night someone just named "Little Drummer Boy" so I'm down to deciding between 3:
"Angels we have heard on High"
"Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring"
"Sleigh Ride"

Someone's been planting all these songs in my mind so it's really hard...drum roll....pa..rum..pa pa

I guess I will choose:

"I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"
In honor of my mom, who use to dress up my dad every Christmas as the best "Santa", I've ever seen & had the pleasure of driving his sleigh...to various homes besides our own...kids in need. My mom gave such loving care to sewing his outfit, shining his boots & maintaining his white beard & wig,
but I'll never forget my dad kissing my mom, or my mom kissing him especially as Santa!!!

But musically for singings, the "Angels..." have it hands down.
Instrumentally, it's a toss up between Boston Pop & Bach!!!
Translation from German:

Jesu, joy of man's desiring,
Holy Wisdom, Love most bright;
Drawn by Thee, our souls, aspiring,
Soar to uncreated light.
Word of God, our flesh that fashion'd,
With the fire of life impassion'd,
Striving still to truth unknown,
Soaring, dying, round Thy throne.

Through the way where hope is guiding,
Hark, what peaceful music rings!
Where the flock, in Thee confiding,
Drink of joy from deathless springs.
Theirs is beauty's fairest pleasure;
Theirs is wisdom's holiest treasure.
Thou dost ever lead Thine own
In the love of joys unknown.

JESU...MY JOY UNKNOWN
...INDESCRIBABLE!!! Thanks Beth!
You have blessed me with all of these songs and your friendship!
The BEST CHRISTMAS give away gift
ever...without even meeting me!

I have to pick two favorites.
I learned sign language for "Silent Night" when I was a teenager, and taught it to my son when he was 3. There is nothing like watching your little child sign a beautiful song like that (And it's so beautiful to watch that song in sign too).
My other favorite is "O Holy Night" it gives me chills by the chorus every time.

Beth,

Your angel is darling! I know I could give her a very good home! LOL!

Now my favorite Christmas song...that is a tough assignment. "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" or "O Little Town of Bethlehem" or "Joy to the World" would have to be way up on my top ten list. This time of year it is just too difficult to pick a favorite! LOL! They all seem wonderful as I listen to them!

Blessings, Sandy

My favorite Christmas song is "O Come Emmanuel." The song is just so absolutely beautiful and soul-stirring. It gives me chills and brings tears to my eyes. Jerusalem longed for a Savior when that tiny baby came to Bethlehem and this heart longs for his return... "O Come, O Come Emmanuel..." Your Bride is waiting your return.

Blessings.

Today my favorite Christmas song is 'Mary Did You Know?'. I like the imagery and reminder that Christ was born as a boy, but has grown into a man and our savior. Thanks. Merry Christmas.

Oh Holy Night. I like the 'say it like it is' songs. "Fall On Your Knees" - we are in the presence of the King! Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is a fun one to decorate to.
