My Valentine's Day

I was thinking that it was time to change my blog layout to something more springlike. But, then yesterday it snowed again--not a lot, just enough to cover the ground.

And since it's only the middle of February, we still have a chance to get that really big snowstorm that we haven't had in quite some time. So, we'll stay in the winter theme for a little while longer.

Let's see--what did I do yesterday? I packed, loaded the car, unpacked, organized, back home--repeated the process--then two loads of laundry, packed some more and then I collapsed!!

But, it is a
good kind of tired--not the mental exhaustion I usually feel from my work, but a feeling of accomplishment and moving forward.

No knitting has been done in days, and I don't imagine that will happen until I'm moved and settled. I moved all of my yarn yesterday and put the boxes on the shelves in the closet in "The Craft Room". Wow!! A craft room!! I did leave a little bit of yarn here just in case I get the urge to knit a few stitches, but the majority of it has been moved.

Last night, I started on the kitchen--packing up the dishes and all the various things one accumulates. And, I wonder sometimes--where did this
come from? And, I'm also wondering--where did this get to? I know I had it somewhere!!

I'm trying to get around to visit everyone, but my days and nights have been filled. So, please understand if I haven't stopped by lately. I'll be back as soon as I get everything settled.

All of this accomplished in one day! But, I didn't do any of this until I stopped by The Lighthouse and wrote my "love letter" to My Father. After all, He wrote me a letter of His love for me--how could I not respond?

You can still do this if you want to!! God loves us so much, and He wants to hear how much we love Him!!

So, that was my Valentine's Day!! What did you do? Anything special?

Stop by Th
e Power of Your Love today where we're raising the roof in praise for Our Almighty Father!!

And be sure and stop by The Lighthouse and tell God just how much you love Him. He's waiting......
