Super Simple Sunday

Today is Super Simple Sunday at Peggy's. Be sure and stop by and visit to view all the participants. Maybe this is the week you'll want to join in!! It's Sunday, it's Simple, and it's Super!

I received a surprise in the mail on Friday--a gift from a friend that was completely unexpected. She had won this gift in a blog contest, and instead of having the gift sent to her, she had it sent to me! A great big thank you to Peggy and Lora at By the Lamplight.

What was the surprise? A deck of cards. Now, you may think to yourself--what is Beth so excited about? A deck of cards?

These are just not ordinary cards. These cards are called "Embracing the Word". Yes, they are marked as regular playing cards, but instead of the usual markings there are individual Scripture verses. I tried to take a picture, but my camera abilities seemed to have failed me once again!

So, for today's Super Simple Sunday I reached into the pack of cards and randomly picked one card. A beautiful verse written on the 7 of hearts:

As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last He will take His stand on the earth....Job 19:25

Wow!! What truth is spoken here!! My Redeemer lives--He died for me, for you, for all of us and yet He lives!!! And the hope that is said--and at the last He will take His stand on the earth!!

This is a promise from God that I don't want anyone to miss. So, today, ask yourself--who do you know that needs to know the love of Jesus, the sacrifice He made so that we may have forgiveness of our sins, salvation and a closer relationship with God, the hope and joy of an eternal life spent with HIM.

Think of one person--just one. Then ask that person to attend church with you, share your hope in Jesus, reach out and touch someone today with the Love of Our Lord!

I've got to tell SOMEBODY!!

Ohhh Yeah MY REDEEMER LIVES!!!

Thank you Beth for this beautiful song, video, verse & words!Words of Comfort & strength! Words of wisdom & simple beautiful TRUTH!

7 of hearts...awesome!!! MY REDEEMER LIVES from JOB...a man who was pushed beyond all human limits!
AND JESUS has taken HIS STAND & we who know HIM must also.

Your life principle application from your heart not to miss the open door to share Jesus with someone...may you share this HOPE in Christ today & bless you for suggesting that others do the same.
That is the reason we live, to bring one more to Jesus who WON
our salvation & the battle over
death & sin! His gift is complete!
HOPE is alive! FAITH is born anew.
LOVE dwells in those who are willing to risk sharing Jesus' truth over their own ways & thoughts! Let's TELL Everybody!

HE REIGNS! HE is the REDEEMER!
HE SAVES! HE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!
HE BREATHES NEW LIFE in DEFEATED, HOPELESS, FAITHLESS, DOWNTRODDEN
lives to SHINE HIS SUPERNATURAL
GLORY, POWER & LOVE! This is JOY
beyond ALL...eternity with Him!

May you be SUPER blessed again & again this SUPER SUNDAY with SPIRITUAL insights & a touch from Heaven! May HE bring that one in your life & you can touch them like you do me with Jesus' Love!!!

Thank YOU...see you in eternity if not before! That could be the next surprise (lol)!

Very good verse. I'd like to find a deck of cards like that. What a great idea. I'll have to take a look at the Family Christian Book store the next time we go there.
Aren't we so lucky to have a Redeemer so loving, kind, and gentle. I pray for those who do not have a clue about who He is and how lucky we are to have someone sacrifice His love for us.
May God continue to pour His blessings upon you dear sister in Christ.
