What is New in My World Today?

Two sick kids--that's what's new. Both Andrew and Lindsay have fevers, coughs, feeling sluggish and achy. Might it be the flu? Oh, I hope not!! Not only don't I like to see them sick, I have a pregnant Cara to think about here. I wouldn't want her getting sick at this point--one little virus, and her asthma will flare up, which usually ends her up in the hospital.

Please keep my kids in your prayers today for healing and health.

Other than that, I've just been trying to muddle through a day's work--one day at a time. People leaving and not being replaced--people on vacation--all making for a very short staffed office and much work being placed on the shoulders of others--which is causing me great tension and pain in my own shoulders and neck!

So, a few prayers in my direction wouldn't hurt one bit either!

Well, I'm off to get ready for work--the place I really don't want to go to but do anyway. What can I say--it pays the bills. I'm still praying for God to show me the direction I am to head in this job situation--whether I am to stay (is He using me there?) or go elsewhere.

Be sure and stop by The Power of Your Love for this week's memory verse. It's all about peace in our lives--where it is and how to obtain it.

Father God, raise up good health in Beth's home, bring down all sickness in Jesus name, cause their bodies to work against germs as You created them to do. Father I would also ask that You would protect Cara from getting sick.

Lord Beth seems weary from the daily grind of her current job...Father be her strength and move her on to a job that fits her perfectly if that be Your will. Draw her near during her day, grant her Your peace in the midst of a tough load. Multiply her time to accomplish what she needs to do and cause Your Words to rise up in her....songs of praise to fill her mind throughout the day. Thank You for being her provision...In Jesus name, AMEN

My good friend has had that virus going through her house (all 3 of her kids got it). So I hope that Cara will remain safe from the "bug."

Have a great day.

I have been where you are, or somewhere near it. And my Lord said, "while I have you in this place, surrender, and bloom where you are planted. I know it's difficult, and I know it's not your choice, but I have My reasons"

I'm sorry it's not easier for us to be able to just say "yes, Lord, even if I don't understand, yes"

Wishing you peace, patience and strength to endure and thrive in the midst of it all!

I am praying that the children are healed and everyone else in the household remain healthy.

I understand the job issues too...summers are hard with people in and out. I will pray for God's direction in your life and that you will hear His voice clearly.

((hugs))

I know just how you feel with your job situation. Mine is quite similar and I find myself asking "is this REALLY where you want me Lord?".

Praying for good health for all your family and a firm direction for you.

Feel free to join in any week...I never know who is going to jump in each week....it's just helping me get into the Word...blessings of all His best to you and yours today Beth!
