I can't believe the weekend is almost over--it feels like it just started!!
I've been busy this weekend--finished making curtains for a fellow worker for her cabin--28 curtains in all!! I've finished two KAL dishcloths that I'm going to send to Afghanistan (pictures posted tomorrow--they're still drying from blocking).
Church today--then to a friend's house to help her make a scrapbook for her son. He is graduating from Marine basic training on Friday--WAY TO GO!!! I'm just so proud of him. The last task he had to complete--The Crucible--52 hours of no sleep, no food, combat conditions, swimming in fatigues, crawling under barbed wire while ammunition is flying over your head--and then if that isn't enough, returning to base and packing all your belongings in a pack and carrying them on a 9 mile hike.
If he didn't complete this one last task, he would be sent home. But, he came through and completed--so, now he is a Marine. Of the 365 recruits there, all made it but one.
I went back to work on Thursday, and by Friday afternoon I was exhausted. I was missing that midafternoon nap I was used to taking!!
Off to bed now for another full week!!
Have a wonderful rest of the evening!!

PRAISE!!!
A BIG PRAISE TO GOD!!
Yesterday, I went to the neurologist, and then on to the cardiologist for one final test. All of my test results came back negative!!
My diagnosis--severe migraines that come on unexpectedly!! The neurologist gave me a prescription for a medication to take to try to ward off these attacks.
All, I can say is "Thank you, God!" Thank you that this is a situation that is not as serious as first suspected, thank you that this is something that can be managed easily, and thank you for all the friends and family that you have placed into my life--urging me on, supporting me, caring for me, loving me, encouraging me, and most of all--praying for me.
There have already been two situations in which I can say that God has used this period in my life to be able to share His truth, His good news; one with my son and the other with my brother--God using all circumstances of life to fulfill the good and given purpose in my life according to HIS will!!
Have a wonderful day!! I know that I'm going to!!

Peace
So, tomorrow I go to the neurologist to discuss my test results. God has given me peace regarding this. I know that whatever, if anything, is found God will be by my side, lead me through this latest storm in my life.
I have so many caring people in my life, so many people praying for me. Our God is an awesome God!!!

Awesome Sunday
Today is Sunday--my favorite day of the week. I was feeling better today than I have in quite a while. I was able to teach my preschool class (2 year olds) and then attend church service. I haven't been able to do this for 3 weeks now!!
Church was awesome--we had communion, and my entire small group was there serving the elements. I love to see us serving all together!! This is my spiritual family--the people who mean more to me than I could ever have imagined they would. But, they are there for me--loving me, caring for me, praying for me, encouraging me.
On another note, I have the dishcloths to be sent to Afghanistan all boxed up and ready to go. A friend from church donated 6 cloths and I was able to make 3, so we have 9 on the way for our soldiers to use as washcloths. Here's a picture of the ones that are being sent tomorrow:
Hopefully, I'll continue to feel good and be able to contribute more to this project.
As for feeling good, I go to the neurologist on Tuesday to discuss my test results. I'm not worried about this--whatever will be is what is meant to be, and with God's help, I'll deal with whatever this is.
Have a wonderful rest of the evening!!
