TWO MORE COMPLETED!!

I've finished two more dishcloths as of today. That means I'm almost finished with this project and can move ahead to my etsy storefront. I can't wait!! I have so many ideas in my head--now just to find a little extra time!!

Traveling Scarf

I finished my portion of my traveling scarf and will be mailing it out today or tomorrow to Washington State. Then 10 different people get to work on it before I get it back. I can't wait to see the finished project, which of course will be months down the road.

I also will be working on 10 other peoples' scarves. This will be so much fun--seeing what others are doing and getting to add a piece of myself to everyone's work!!

Summer Sky

Ah, yes!!! Another project completed. Snowed today, but not enough to close our office. We did leave a little early, but not as early as I had hoped!!

I love the colors in this--reminds me that summer is on its way and MAYBE, just MAYBE a trip to the beach!!

Well, I was wrong. Yesterday was more stressful than the day before. I'm glad I'm off this afternoon and I can sit and knit in peace for several hours on end. What a stress blaster!!!

Then off to dinner with my son for his birthday!! Happy Birthday to my one and only son!!

Today

Hopefully, today will be a better day at work today than yesterday--not so much stress and turmoil. I'm just waiting for tomorrow when I have a half day off, and then what am I going to do?? You guessed it--I'm going to sit for the afternoon and knit--try to get all those dishcloths finished so I can start on new projects--projects that I am going to start selling on a website. I'm so excited about this and can't wait to get started--but the dishcloths need finished first!!

DISHCLOTHS!!!

Just in case anyone is wondering, I do make things other than dishcloths. I've gotten an order from a friend for herself and her 2 daughters for 30 dishcloths, so I'm kind of stuck on these.

As soon as these are finished, I'll be moving on to other projects.

What a stressful work at day today--people on vacation, people out sick with the flu, and all kinds of people coming in with bronchitis, strep throat and the FLU!!

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day!!

Well, this morning I'm in the process of transferring my pictures of items that I have made into another account, and then transferring them to Ravelry. I hope this works. I also have linked my blogspot to Ravelry, and I hope that works, too!!

I can't wait to see pictures of my finished and in progress items on Ravelry. I think just seeing them there will inspire me to complete all those works in progress!!

A Great Book

I have finished reading this great book called "The Shape of Love". What is so exciting about this book? Well, I'll tell you--one of the authors is a friend of mine, and this is her first published book. I'm so excited for her!! I can't imagine what it would even feel like to have written something and then see this in book form with your name on the cover!! WAY TO GO, VICKI!!!

If you get a chance, stop by your local bookstore and pick this one up!!

FIRST BLOG EVER

I am new to this. I have created this blog so that I can be contacted by others interested in knitting, crocheting, God and Christianity.

I currently am looking for an EASY sock pattern. I have never made socks before, and I have some wonderful 100% pima yarn that I hand dyed today. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it!!
