Snow--Instead of ICE?!?!

According to the weather forecasters, we're in for some snow--at least six inches--starting tonight through Sunday morning!! WOO HOO!! Now, I know that some of you have had more than your fair share of snow and wouldn't be very excited about this.

But, we haven't had our first REAL snowstorm of this winter yet. In a way, I'm looking forward to it--though I do have some plans that will not come about if this snow does arrive.

If it does arrive though then I'll have a chance to catch up on some things that I've been meaning to do and have put on the backburner--like do the last day of my first KAL of the year, start my next KAL, and finish the reconstruction of my blog!! I still have all my CHRISTmas projects listed here!! I really need to get this updated!! There is more to do, of course, but the list could go on forever.

Here are two pictures of what our winter has been so far:

As you can see, it's been ice, ice and more ice!! I'm ready for a little of the white stuff falling from the sky!!

Oh Beth! Snow! Real Snow! I am envious...snow is such a rare thing down here in the South and even when we do see flurries the snow is more like vapor than anything real. I hope you get a beautiful blanket of snow to delight in!

Blessings, Sandy

We've had lots of snow already, but thankfully, no ice sotrms here. I know they've had trouble with ice in the east. We just have snow and intense cold to deal with.

Enjoy whatever God brings your way

I am not a fan of ice or snow for that matter, but there is something magical (can a Christian say that word???) about the beauty of ice and new fallen snow. Just proof that God can use anything, even a bad thing, and turn it into beauty and good. Just like He is doing with me and you and anyone who loves Him.

Beth, Those pictures are great! I've not seen snow and ice in a while living here in Phoenix. But it's nice to look at the photos. Thanks for stopping by Heart Choices on Fitness Friday. :)

Brrr...beautiful pictures. Make sure you take more and share with us folks in the deep South. We have had no snow in our area and I'm not sure we will this winter.

Enjoy every flake!!!

Thank you for stopping in at Joy Comes In The Morning.

We had a terrible ice storm here just over a year ago, and we still have Electrical helpers here helping us restore lines and poles.

We rarely get snow in Virginia. I'd love a nice snow! Keep warm and stay safe.

Yes, you're right, some of us are NOT thrilled with the snow! hehe We've had snow since early November and it's not going away at all...sigh. I can understand, though, how happy you are to be getting some since you hadn't really had any yet...it sure does look pretty when there's fresh fallen snow.

Love those two ice pictures, such gorgeous shots! xoxo

So, how much snow did you get? We got a couple, it looks like, in SE Nebraska. I like your photos, even though you're tired of the ice.

Whooo hoooo.

I choose snow too, but that ice sure is pretty. Too bad we have to beg out and deal with it
