A Good Cause
I was just visiting my friend, Aunt Kathy, and I read about our opportunity to help in breast cancer research. Now, I don't know about you, but I've lost a good many family members to cancer, and I'd like to see this disease eradicated in our lifetime.
The goal is for 1,000,000 million to sign up at their site, An Army of Women. I just visited and there are almost 250,000 recruits now. Won't you help by visiting and signing up? There is also a contest going on as an added incentive.
In my mind, a cure for cancer would be the best prize of all!! Let's get together and wipe this dreaded disease off the map!!

Not to distract from the breast cancer contest, but my girls and I were looking at the kitty and I'm afraid I might've missed an update. Is there one??
Beth, I'm also glad to meet you through blogging! And I appreciate the link to An Army of Women.
I guess congrats are in order since you live in PA. Your Phillies beat out the Tampa Bay Rays. I had to be cheering for the Rays (sorry) but my dad lives in the Tampa Bay area and is a big fan. I even wrote a post about it.
Anyway, glad to find you and I'll be back to visit.
